Thomas Goes Down the Mine

At the end of the line, there is a mine which has been disused for a very long time. Thomas knows that he's not supposed to go near the mine as it's very dangerous.

Oh dear - where's Thomas going? His driver has gone for a cup of tea, but forgotten to put the handbrake on! He's rolling away ... the driver runs after him, but it's too late, and Thomas is down the mine!

Toby the Tram Engine comes to the rescue! A visitor to the line, 'Toby' comes to help out his friend Thomas who has got into a spot of trouble. He helps him out of the mine, and then takes him back to the shed for a good check over. 'Old Isambard' gives a helping shove too.
