Corwen Central News Letter May 2017 – Part 1
Spring time in the Dee Valley has shown itself through glorious sunshine and cooling rain,along with new born lambs, primroses and daffodils decorating many of the grass verges and some riverside walks.
The steady lengthening of the days have offered more time to the Project Team to forge ahead with the building of the station, including the completion of the Easi-Blocs, (P2) adding the second and third layer of concrete blocks
and preparing for the oversail blocks to be added from the west end. In the meantime the crossing timbers which Team members selected at NR’s Crewe Depot for laying out the UP siding and east end points were delivered to
Corwen Central in the middle of April. These have been followed up by a delivery of rail (40 lengths) which are in temporary storage in Carrog Yard
